Our Aim and commitment to you
We recognize your commitment to us and we’ll never stop appreciating it…
We want you to have a pleasant experience whilst your Leisure Vehicle is with us, whether in for a Service or an extensive repair, we will always aim to make your visit as comfortable as possible.
It starts from the minute your caravan is dropped off with us we aim to place you at ease, firstly we arrange our appointments so that you don’t arrive to be met by a queue, we allow ample space for you to enter our premises with no tight turns or reversing, we will even unhook your caravan for you!
On arrival, a quick trip into the office to meet one of our staff and once the necessary paperwork is produced, we will come to your Leisure Vehicle to confirm exactly what you want us to look at, agree an action plan and discuss any more in depth requirements or if it’s a straight forward service, we will make sure all is well on arrival and then park up your van…forgotten your hitch lock? We’ll even pop one on for you…
We care about your Vehicle…
Starting with the interior:
We use a mat, lift carpets and remove and cover driver’s seats before commencing any work.
We will open every window, check every blind, flyscreen and rooflight, rooflocker door, flap, access point for signs of damage or failure, we will then run up all the appliances on mains and on Gas, these appliances are then thoroughly tested for signs of poor combustion a byproduct of which is Carbon monoxide, a very dangerous gas.
We will perform a water ingress check of the vehicle and with the backup of a fully furnished workshop you are in good hands should there be an issue, in this event we will discuss the options for repair, working with a Budget to tailor a repair or offering guidance of the finer details is no issue.
We check the water system, ensuring that there are no leaks either on the fresh water or the grey waste, it is important to remember that with our 30 + years of combined experience, we know where to look for potential issues!
Moving under the vehicle:
Checking the underside of the vehicle in line with the Chassis manufacturers’ recommendation, we will strip and adjust the brakes, ensuring that the pads and braking mechanisms are effective and equal on the road wheels, and working correctly with the hitch assembly and running gear. We also ensure that the corner steadies are lubricated so they remain free for use over the next 12 months, we then check the chassis to body securing bolts and inspect the underside of the vehicle and the tyres for deterioration, we can receive up to three deliveries per day for tyres so stock is not an obstacle.
The Final Touches
On completion and before the vehicle leaves the workshop, the wheel nuts are torqued by calibrated wrenches and checked by two technicians, the vehicle undergoes an inspection of the roof and body seals, water drained and switches left in the ‘off’ position. The battery is tested and topped up if required; we know a lot of our caravan customers use a motor mover to park the van once arriving at their destination so we make sure they can! Then before we close and lock the door for the final time we will vacuum the carpet or clean the Lino floor to ensure that the first time you open the door, you know we’ve looked after your pride and joy.
